Canidium is looking for a part time (20 hrs/week) IT Technician. The IT Technician will be responsible for technical troubleshooting, analyzing and solving laptop malfunctions, and monitoring out our information security systems. 

Job Responsibilities: 
  • Troubleshoot various computer technical problems, such as network connection issues, hardware and software issues
  • Able to diagnose problems and troubleshoot solutions
  • Refresh, upgrade, and refurbish laptop computers returned from the field, making ready for reissue 
  • Document, track, and monitor problems to facilitate a timely solution 
  • Maintain, update, and monitor Fixed Asset Tracking system 

Job Requirements: 
  • Must have a technical background--troubleshooting experience, technical comprehension, background knowledge of the industry 
  • Must be able to take initiative and have a problem-solving mentality 
  • Be up-to-date on Windows, encryption, and AV systems 
  • Background in computer science, electrical engineering, CIS or equivalent preferred
