CPQ Solutions Architect

Canidium CPQ Solutions Architects demonstrate in-depth expertise of the system. They work with customers to design, develop, and deliver scalable and flexible CPQ systems to fit our client's needs. Our CPQ team works to successfully input client information, configure products, and create documentation as necessary. CPQ Architects also work with internal and partner sales teams to assess, road map, plan, and propose these solutions.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Performing the Development Cycle: Gathering requirements, build-out functionality, documentation, and pushing changes to all environments
  • Learning new technology and programming languages in order to develop new features, expand existing features, and resolve problems with old features; all while handling ongoing maintenance
  • Communicating promptly and professionally to requests from clients
  • Learning and developing unique technology solutions to apply in specific business problems
  • Creating internal documentation and materials to expand knowledge base for the company as a whole

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology products and programming languages
  • Ability to problem solve and think strategically
  • Professional organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects at once
Skills & Experience Needed:
  • BS or MS degree in a technology-related program or equivalent (Computer Science, Mathematics, etc)
  • 5+ years of CPQ solution delivery experience with CallidusCloud CPQ, SAP Variant Configurator (VC), Oracle/Big Machines, Salesforce/SteelBrick, FPX, Apptus, or similar
  • 5+ years of consulting experience
  • Programming language experience in the following: IronPython, SQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • Excellent domain expertise, technical aptitude, and ability to quickly adapt new technical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience interacting with audiences of all technical and management levels
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment, with a "Can Do" attitude
Primary Location: Anywhere, USA
Travel:  Some positions may require 20-100% travel
